Captured during our most recent exploration of Iceland, Eldhraun Hollow explores the extraordinary colours, contours and textures of the Eldhraun lava field, where ancient volcanic rock is now cloaked in a soft, velvety blanket of moss.
I waited patiently for the light to fall across the landscape at just the right angle, revealing the subtle undulations and intricate textures of the moss-covered lava. In that fleeting moment, the interplay of light and shadow brought the landscape to life, drawing out its sculptural forms and creating an almost ethereal quality.
